The North West Development Agency (NWDA) have organised an event to examine the vulnerability of the region’s key industry sectors to oil depletion and price volatility.
The event will include an overview from Stewart Brown (SQW) and Dan Lee (Cambridge Econometrics) of the issues and science of peak oil and its impact on the price of oil, energy and oil derived feedstocks e.g. plastics. There will also be a presentation from Simon Snowden of the Oil Depletion Impact Group at Liverpool University on their work to help businesses to identify their exposure to oil price volatility.
