Professor Peter Crossley of the Joule Centre will be giving a presentation at Envirenergy 2010, the North West's premier energy and environmental exhibition, conferencing and networking event.

The event is set to take place on 24 June 2010 at Old Trafford, Manchester. With a focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency, environmental management, safety, health and environment and general technical innovation, the event organisers hope to build on the success of last year's exhibition, which attracted over 300 delegates.

The conference portion of the day will feature high-profile speakers delivering a series of practical talks on how they are applying sustainable solutions to tackle economic and environmental problems. Professor Crossley will be speaking about reasons why large energy producers should be aware of the practicalities of smart grids.
