Following on from last year’s highly-successful smart grid seminar, the Joule Centre last month held another one-day smart grid event. It included presentations from high-profile representatives from both industry and academia, who discussed the key issues surrounding this increasingly vital topic.

The objective was to encourage an exchange of views between utilities, vendors and academia. The Joule Centre plans to use information and contacts from the seminar to facilitate an interactive working group that continues to exchange ideas and experiences about Smart Grids.
