The following is a press release from the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
Businesses with green ambitions can get a helping hand from Envirolink Northwest at two free events dedicated to encouraging organisations to generate their own renewable energy.
The opportunities for generating energy from wind, waste or micro-renewables in England’s Northwest are huge but many companies with the intention of deploying such technologies are unsure how to go about it or where to start.
Envirolink Northwest can help guide businesses through the process of deploying renewable energy from giving advice about funding and finance to helping achieving planning consent and providing information on regional suppliers.
The events, which take place on 17 and 19 of November and have been organised by Envirolink Northwest’s Low Carbon Development Team, are open to all businesses in the region that would like to find out more about the possibilities of renewable energy market. The team will be on hand to give tailored advice to delegates to help outline exactly what can be done for their individual company
The first ‘Need help with renewables?’ event will take place at the Rheged Centre, Penrith, Cumbria on Tuesday 17 November 2009. The second event will take place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington, Cheshire on Thursday 19th November 2009.
