‘Market Access for Small Scale Intelligent Energy Generation’(MASSIG) Project Dissemination Event
The aim of this project has been to elaborate marketing concepts and technological approaches to help sell electricity products generated by Distributed Generation (DG) in a power range of up to some several hundred kW. Wave and Tidal Stream Supply Chain Event in response to the £9m Technology Strategy Board (TSB) competition
Wave and tidal stream devices are currently at an early stage of development, but are expected to provide up to 20% of the UK's electricity needs by 2050. This event highlighted the current and future supply chain opportunities in this fast growing sector.
